Capture Personality

I am aaaall for photoshoots that captures the personality of a person. I want a picture to tell me something about the person in the photo. I am not a big fan of forced smiles, artificial postures/poses and zero personality. I did , what i would like to call, a personality shoot with a dear friend from Switzerland. Ladies and gents...miss Tatiana Desardouin. She is one vibrant soul and works as a dancer, choreogrpaher, performer, dance teacher. I enjoy these photos of her alot because i think they came out great in the sense of 'it is SOOOOO her!' Haha. Enjoy these photos. Thanks again for taking a look. Have a great day!

|Prinkstacy with a touch of zanity...or is it|

This is an abstract painting that i created last summer. More paingings coming up! It started out as something else, but i didnt like it, painted over it, then didnt like dat, painted over it again and didnt like that......abstract paintings are hard to make. Much harder than one would think and they take much longer time than you would think too...And they do trigger one's subconcious. I totally respect abstract painters way much more now. How to guide the brush strokes with my instincts when creating something abstract - will take more practice for sure. But anyways, after re doing it and smearing it out like a mad woman, i finally got a background that i liked ( hehe that anger and toilet tissue worked it out). It would turn out to look good as a frame within the painting. And then i just had to decide when to stop ( thats a tricky one too....i tell ya) Anyways here it is, my first abstract painting ever. I call it: "Prinkstacy with a touch of zanity...or is it " Haha. Enjoy and thank you for taking a look at my work! have a great day!

Found Art

Who knows what found art is??? Found art is art created from found undisguised objects that are not normally considered art often because they already have a non-art function. Marcel Duchamp ( France) was the originator of this in the early 20th century and Picasso was going crazy with it too. Found art derives its identity as art from the designation placed upon it by the artist. Here is a found art piece created by myself, i call it : " Shair". It was once a SHopping cart, now it is a cHAIR. "SHAIR". It took alot of effort ( and violence) to get the cart into my car for transportation to the work shop at school, and a lot of sawing but it was a fun project and i am happy with the results and i have never seen it done before. So while i am patting myself on the back for a great job please enjoy my art! And i must say it is rather comfy to sit in...haha. Have a good day!

4 self's

These are pretty self explanatory "4 self's" in oil paint on bristol paper. One is monochromatic ( the blue one), analogous ( red, yellow, orange one) complimentary ( yellow, purple, blue, orange) and one is realistic. made from a mug shot taken that in may 2010, that's when i made this. I do think it looks like me. happy with the results. Thanks for taking a look.Bless

One can have a lot of fun with a hole puncher and some glue.....

.....this is a portrait of Bryan Gentry. It is made from lolts n lots of paper in differnt grayscales. For many hours ( about 65 hours or so... ) i punched out pieces of paper in small circles, placed them togheter accordignly to a sketch of a photograph i had taken, and glued them togheter. My oh my, was this a tedious project at times, when i had glue all over and the tiny tiny paper pieces rather stuck to my fingers than the paper, but after 65 hours spread out durign a week end I have to say that i absolutely LOVE THE OUTCOME of it!!! Enjoy and thanks for taking a look at my art! Have a great day!
