A blog about the Art of Mei-li Wu. Mei-visions photography is the main area of focus. But as a person of the arts I will share my creations in visual arts, paintings, sculptures, artprints, knittings, dance, yoga, knowledge and everything else that I find inspiring in life.

One can have a lot of fun with a hole puncher and some glue.....
.....this is a portrait of Bryan Gentry. It is made from lolts n lots of paper in differnt grayscales. For many hours ( about 65 hours or so... ) i punched out pieces of paper in small circles, placed them togheter accordignly to a sketch of a photograph i had taken, and glued them togheter. My oh my, was this a tedious project at times, when i had glue all over and the tiny tiny paper pieces rather stuck to my fingers than the paper, but after 65 hours spread out durign a week end I have to say that i absolutely LOVE THE OUTCOME of it!!! Enjoy and thanks for taking a look at my art! Have a great day!
