It was a hot summer day of 2011 in Lambertville, NJ, when i shot model/ hair product owner from Brooklyn, New York, miss Jena Berman. This was a fun collaboration with professional hair stylist/make-up artist Yuliana Bishop. It was a pleasure to work with these ladies and i am honored to have the camera man of Turtlevan Productions Mr.Bryan Gentry (www.turtlevan.com)to capture it all on video. Here it is folks, have a look at whats going on behind the scenes of a MeiVisions Photoshoot. Enjoy and thank you for taking a look at my blogg. Have a wonderful day now!!!

Welcome behind my scenes...

...of the MeiVisions Photoshoot July 31th, 2011, Stockton, New Jersey. I was collaborating with two wonderful ladies. My model was the young, funky chic Jena Berman from Brooklyn, New York. She is in the process of starting up her own hair and beauty product line so keep an eye out for " jenaBhair" products guys. Her hair was the focus of this shoot as you will see when i post the images later on. Make-up and hair stylist this time was the Croatian and down-to-earth: Yuliyana Bishop, owner of "Yuli Hair Salon" in New Hope, PA. If you are ever in the area, or even in a state nearby ( New York, New Jersey) it is so worth traveling a bit and paying a visit to her salon. She is absolutely awesome in her expertise and she does a fabulous job on cutting, styling, color, make up, theatre make up, you name it. google them people, google them. Here are some photos from behind the scenes. Enjoy! Thank you for taking a look and reading my blog, it warms my heart. And last but NOT least- a big shout out to Bryan Gentry from TurtleVan Productions who was filming the whole day and is now putting togheter the next viral video. SOOO EXCITED to see it! Have a good day folks! www.meivisions.com

One can have a lot of fun with a hole puncher and some glue.....

.....this is a portrait of Bryan Gentry. It is made from lolts n lots of paper in differnt grayscales. For many hours ( about 65 hours or so... ) i punched out pieces of paper in small circles, placed them togheter accordignly to a sketch of a photograph i had taken, and glued them togheter. My oh my, was this a tedious project at times, when i had glue all over and the tiny tiny paper pieces rather stuck to my fingers than the paper, but after 65 hours spread out durign a week end I have to say that i absolutely LOVE THE OUTCOME of it!!! Enjoy and thanks for taking a look at my art! Have a great day!

Claasic book cover-illustration

I did an illustration for a classic book cover, the idea was to take on a fresh view of a classic book, so i did. Sherlock Holmes was my choice but i made him a fashionable, handsome black man in stead. ( hmmf hmmf my man is my inspiration here, you guys who knows him, can see it in an instant) I am very happy about the outcome of this piece, and so far it is my best one. I still love illustration, and my book will come out one day...Maybe i will re-write Sherlock Holmes....hmmmm......Anyways, enjoy my black Sherlock Holmes in London town. Blessings
