Turned Sweden into Africa for a moment...

MeiVisions Photography had a magic summer day in August together with the dancers Niki Tsappos and Martha Nawbire from the Soulsweat Dance Crew. We turned Sweden into Africa for an instant. Tora MÃ¥rtens a videographer, who is currently shooting a real nice documentary on these two fierce ladies, had recently been in Tanzania and brought with her some goodies in forms of fabrics and beads, beads and more beads. She was shooting for the cover of her documentary while i was shooting press and personal images. The adorable, super humble and beautiful inside-out Theresa Gustavsson contributed to this shoot with her hair styling and braiding skills. Her work is neat! We got up early morning, ate a swedish breakfast ( egg and caviar on a tube) and headed out for the closest beach in the neighbourhood....yeh its actually in the neighbourhood, in a suburb beside a little lake. "Flaten badet" so swedish as can be. Sooo cosy. To our great surprise we had the beach to ourselves, and i didnt have to worry about strangers posing in the background...puh! The sun was out, the clouds were out, the light kept changing on us and i had to be quick in my manual mode to get the exposure i wanted. As when i first bought a professional camera in 2008: the natural light kept pleasing me alot this day. The sun - we adore! Yepp. Here are some of my favourites images. Big thank you's for everyone who was involved this day for fabulous work. Enjoy folks, and thank you once again for taking a look on my blogg. Have a wonderful day.
